Cerys loves the Printer Panda
Oooh thanks! This is the one I remember reading, just dug it up. AU, so I’m not sure it counts, but it’s lovely.
Ohhh, I remember reading this, actually — although I don’t recall when or where exactly. It may have been norsekink, come to think of it. MMM PAINT EVERYWHERE
dammit this pairing hits my art kink from all sides don’t it
shit now i want thor to post-TDW ask steve to paint him a portrait of loki and steve gets a MUSE and it is CREEPY and whoa this is not what he signed up for when he came to asgard
And I’m certainly not going to discourage you from thinking about how to make Loki and Steve work — I’ve seen where that sort of thing leads. And I like it :3
Aw MAN because I totally just see any physical relationship between them not starting out with penetrative sex but more frottage and intercrural sex and that latter one is SUCH a huge fucking kink of mine aaaaaaaargh
oooooo for a brilliant one (Gen, but oh my god the dynamics are gold) check out A Kindness Repaid (Posting the A03 link because it’s about twice as long as the NK one) I friggin’ love it. There’s also Telephone on NK
My dog looks like a fuzzy penis. That is all, bye.
i sat here laughing for like ten minutes
I almost had a heart attack last night while my husband and I were lying in bed reading and his entire body starts shaking. I’m all ARE YOU OK ARE YOU HAVING A SEIZURE ARE YOU CRYING WHATS HAPPENING
and then i realize he’s just laughing hysterically- so hard that he CANT MAKE NOISE
And I go: Are you thinking about that damn penis dog again?
him: *silent nodding while he claps like a dumb seal*
YOUR HUSBAND IS ADORABLE AS FUCK

Chinese (Han) Purple and Egyptian Blue are the only know man-made pigments created before the birth of Christ. There is also a variant known as Han Blue, which utilises the same core elements as Chinese Purple, but in modified amounts to produce a different end result.
Although both were developed by ancient chemists, and use quite similar processes (developed separately by the two cultures) Chinese Purple proved to have some astonishing properties when subjected to strong magnetic fields at temperatures close to absolute zero: it is incredibly conductive.
When the first samples were reduced to -2 Kelvin and a magnetic field 900 times stronger than that of the earth, the molecules of the Chinese Purple samples linked together magnetically and began to function as a single magnetic wave. As the temperature was lowered further, to within fractions of a degree within absolute zero, these magnetic bonds between molecules began to seperate until they became, in magnetic terms, two seperate two-dimensional planes - something humanity had never achieved before. In other words - Chinese Purple undergoes a zero temperature transition between two distinct states of matter, when subjected to a magnetic field. Incredibly, proximate to the quantum critical point that separates the two phases, Chinese Purple acquires a collective description in terms of a universal quantum field theory.
The real life implications of this are staggering. Increased efficency of magnet-based systems (such as MagLev), and superconductivity and increased efficiency in computer processors
A thousand years before Christ, Imperial China created an incredible solution to a 21st century problem, and paved the way for fantastical scientific advancements.
